Earners have explored ethical, social and legal dilemmas in Information technology faced by IT professionals. Earners understand these issues as they relate to the development, use and implementation of innovative technology, particularly the internet. Earners used case studies and critical analysis, to develop their own set of internalised ethical standards that will guide their behaviour as IT professionals. They can use their knowledge to generate alternative solutions to ethical dilemmas.
