
Safer Healthcare for Australia's First Peoples

By completing 6 hours of training, earners will be able to critically reflect on cultural safety to understand how safe, accessible healthcare, that is free from racism, is advocated for and delivered. Foundational concepts are covered including the challenges associated and how colonialism continues to impact upon First Peoples' health. Specific strategies to deliver culturally safe healthcare via culturally safe communication, reflection, respect, safety and quality and advocacy are discussed.
