Earners of this micro-credential have completed a professional development program designed to enhance confidence, build knowledge, and develop the requisite skills needed to effectively manage learning support within a school environment. Earners have completed five modules including: Introduction to learning support, Collaboration and role of the learning support teacher, Inclusion and differentiation within diverse classrooms, Response to intervention and adjustments and Impact on practice.

Earning Criteria

  • Earners have successfully completed the five professional development modules including associated learning activities. The five completed modules included: introduction to learning support, collaboration and the role of the learning support teacher, inclusion and differentiation within diverse classrooms, response to intervention and adjustments and impacts on practice.
  • Earners have successfully completed an assessment task which requires earners to develop a learning reflection journal tailored to their individual school environment and role within the school focused on demonstrating the impact on practice of the micro-credential. Earners were required to submit the journal and received a passing grade.
