Healthy University Wellbeing Champion
Earners have demonstrated passion and enthusiasm regarding improving the wellbeing of the Griffith University Community. Earners can be Griffith Students and Staff of any level. They have completed Wellbeing Champion training with the Injury and Disability Support Team. This is supported by the Healthy University Advisory Group. The badge represents individuals who are an advocate for wellbeing initiatives at Griffith University and are a member of the Healthy University Champions Network.Additional Details
Earners have nominated themselves and completed initial application. The application seeks to draw out what interests them in being a Healthy University Champion, what they bring to the role, the amount of time they can commit to the role and any suggestions on how to improve the well-being of staff and students at Griffith University.
Earners may have completed an informal interview/chat with Injury and Disability Support team.
Earners have completed training that provides an overview of the Healthy Universities Strategy, expectation of a champion and means of communication (report) back to the Healthy Universities Advisory Committee. The Champions are provided with regular networking opportunities, training, and resources to assist them in the role as a champion.
