The School of Computing's cybersecurity badge prepares students to identify, assess and address digital security threats. After completion students will be able to analyze risk using a variety of risk evaluation techniques, discuss legal and ethical issues related to information security and hacking, and use tools to secure networks. Students will learn how to develop frameworks for computer network forensics analysis, and apply tools and techniques for cyber-forensics.
