The Executive Potential Program (EPP) is a competency-based leadership development program that provides training and developmental experiences for public service employees at the GS-13 - GS-15 levels. The curriculum is aligned with the current Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) and integrates classroom instruction, action learning projects, and individualized developmental assignments. The overarching theme of the program is “Leading Change.”

Training consists of four one-week training sessions. Individual development is facilitated through assessments, feedback, in-class learning, teamwork, and activities that create connections with other organizations, leaders and practice areas. Action Learning Teams are selected at the beginning of the program and complete an Action Learning Project by the end of the program.
