Earners of the Chief Sustainability Officer Program Executive Certificate are uniquely positioned to move in the CSO or similar executive level of c-suite positions in the organization. They can: (1) Develop the strategic plan for organizational sustainability efforts; (2) obtain, direct, and manage operational budgets for sustainability functions; and (3) serve as a key member of the c-suite and executive leadership teams in setting organizational strategy.

Standards
The Chief Sustainability Officer program is a non-degree School of Business Executive Development certificate program providing the opportunity to earn a badge credential for successfully completing the program to their resume for organizational recognition and to indicate the accomplishment of obtaining a George Mason University credential.
