Integrative Curricular Microcredential in Geographic Information Systems

Through coursework in the Microcredential in geographic information systems (GIS), students will gain proficiency in GIS software and related technologies. Students will be able to use GIS software to collect, manage, and display geographic data, as well as to perform geospatial analysis and create high-quality maps. Knowledge of GIS and related software is useful to students across many disciplines and can boost future opportunities for research, internships, jobs, graduate school, and beyond.
