Earners of this badge will possess the skills needed to pursue careers as coders in a variety of healthcare settings. Earners will understand medical terms, reimbursements and how to file a claim, documentation of medical conditions and procedures using current coding language along with basic human anatomy and physiology including anatomical terminology. This badge will prepare the student to take the Coding Certification Exam. Earners must pass classes with an A- or better.
