Handing in Healthcare Settings has increased the visibility of worker safety and introduced a role that can be filled by an advanced level pharmacy technician: the Designated Person. This course will allow technicians to obtain a solid foundation in handling hazardous drugs and prepare them to take a leadership role in their practice settings. This series is developed based on the blueprint for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board’s Hazardous Drugs Management Certificate.
