Mental Health First Aid is a skills-based training course that teaches participants about mental health and substance-use issues, as well as practical ways to help a person experiencing a mental health crisis.

Earning Criteria

  • Earners must complete two hours of online pre-work before the scheduled training. They must also attend the full day training. Any participant missing more than 45 minutes of the training will have to repeat the training to earn the certification. Students must complete and pass the post training test with a 60% or better to earn the certification.
