They have gained skills in using basic workbench tools, laser cutting, and CNC milling machines, along with full machine shop PPE and safety education. This credential grants full access to the Fab Lab shop, enabling the use of advanced machinery and tools for fabrication and prototyping.

Earning Criteria

For this ultimate Pathways credential, earner will undergo training to complete at least three hours of workshop basics training, earning the Workbench Fundaments, CNC Essentials and Laser Cutter Fundamentals certifications, as well as full safety training, and will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of full safe, AMRoC Fab Lab machine shop use including the production of at least four separate parts.
In addition to hands on training and parts production, there is also an online assessment requiring at least an 80% passing rate.
Earner will demonstrate understanding of Workbench essentials through the production of at least four separate machined parts.
