The Forum on Education Abroad
Earners have participated a series of webinars that intentionally centers BIPOC, their experiences, and their scholarship to familiarize international educators with issues of transnational, regional, and local racism around the world and the work being done to dismantle it. Earners have put their learning and reflection into practice by proposing a strategic and meaningful way that they plan to activate their agency and work to dismantle racism and discrimination in their own work.

Participate in the webinar "Transnational Blackness: A Conversation About Race and Racism around the World" and the 5-part "When We Do See Color: Ending Global Racism" webinar series.

Complete the capstone “Reflection to Action” activity which proposes a strategic and meaningful way to activate one's agency and work to dismantle racism and discrimination in international education.

Capstone activity is reviewed, meets established criteria, and is provided feedback for improvement as determined by two professional justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion consultants.
Standards
The Forum on Education Abroad is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission as the Standards Development Organization for Education Abroad. The Forum develops and disseminates comprehensive Standards of Good Practice for the field of education abroad.
