OSHA 10 is a 10-hour safety course taught within the confines of the Production Technician Program (PTP), the advanced manufacturing pre-apprenticeship program. This course is designed by OSHA to cover safety basics and to increase awareness of common safety and health hazards workers may find on the job. The OSHA 10 card itself does not expire, but some employers or organizations may require refresher training every 3-5 years.

Earning Criteria

Participants must meet attendance requirements, pass the topic quizzes, and successfully complete the 10-hour training taught by an OSHA authorized instructor.

Successful completion of this course carries Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) for ISC-112, Industrial Safety.
