Fundamentals of Robotics

Developed within the Department of Architecture, this badge provides earners with an introduction to working with multi-axis robotic arms to program a variety of operations. Using a non-proprietary, task-based approach, earners have learned about robotic safety, robotic anatomy, robotic spatial logic, axis-specific movement, cartesian movement, and waypoint programming. Hands-on practice with different types of robots has prepared earners for more advanced training with robots.

  • Successful completion of related module quizzes addressing the learner's understanding on various topics within Fundamentals of Robotics.
  • Successful completion of an assessment demonstrating understanding of Fundamental of Robotics terms.
  • Successful completion of a reflective presentation where learners demonstrate how the competencies gained can be utilized to further personal, professional and/or academic goals.
