Successful completion preparing and presenting a balanced meal, containing a main item protein, a starch and a vegetable side dish.

Successful completion of a written assessment analyzing food waste, such as identifying sources, management challenges, and best practices in reducing food waste.

Successful completion of an exam addressing the learner’s understanding within food production, safety, and sanitation.

Successful completion of a reflection paper where learners demonstrate how the competencies gained can be utilized to further personal, professional and/or academic goals.
