Fundamentals of COIL Design and Facilitation

Developed within Florida International University's Office of Collaborative Online International Learning, this badge recognizes fundamental knowledge and skills for COIL design and facilitation skills. Earners will be able to work with an international instructional partner to produce a COIL Module Plan that engages students in peer-to-peer intercultural dialogue and project-based disciplinary learning online.

Earning Criteria

Successful completion of assessments where learners demonstrate understanding on various topics within COIL Design and Facilitation.

Successful completion of a reflection survey where learners demonstrate how the competencies gained can be utilized to further personal, professional and/or academic goals.
