The content of the program focuses on building knowledge of career development theories, learning strategies to incorporate career learning into your practice and creating a plan for implementing these strategies.

Earning Criteria

This professional development program consists of a four-hour professional development day, divided into four sessions, followed by an implementation share-out 6 weeks later. Session 1: General overview of CSAC, Intro to Career Development Theory, Session 2: Intro to Career Assessment, Career Exploration and the Career Competencies, Session 3: Handshake and the First Destination Graduation survey, Session 4: Overview of barriers to student career development and how these can be overcome
