The course objective is to provide students the skills needed to practice the FAA's approach to Basic Instructor Training. Individual and workshop activities are designed to develop skills in delivering instructor led training (ILT) and understanding the development of training materials and visual aids. Students develop, deliver and are assessed on delivery of FAA Lessons.

Earning Criteria

The methods of assessment include examinations, presentations, performance rubrics (checklists), and Blackboard online journaling with a minimum passing score of 70 percent.

The methods of instruction include audio visual materials, practical exercises, discussion, case studies, learner presentations, classroom exercises, laboratory, lecture, and computer-based training.
