This virtual conference includes sessions from Reading Recovery experts Janet Bufalino and Annie Opat; the Bill Martin, Jr Picture Book Award Winner Deborah Underwood; and topics over literacy in general by Lendi Bland, Heather Caswell, Tasia Markowitz, Shari Scribner, Rebekah Curry, Teddy Roop, and Kathleen Howe.

  • To earn this badge, you will attend the Literacy Changes Lives event (November 7) which includes; the many facets of writing to emergent / early learners, capturing students' interest using poetry, early literacy activities and green screen activities, reciprocity of reading and writing (using Reading Recovery lesson components), discovering literature and arts beyond the elementary classroom (using embedded technology), and decoding the Science of Reading (SOR) from A-Z.
