Fire Alarm Systems, Level I, Based on the 2020 NEC (5/1/21-9/30/25)

The course objective is to introduce the Electrical Worker to basic systems and the codes and standards that are associated with fire alarm systems. The course then explores initiating devices and notification appliances. Once the Electrical Worker has gained an understanding of the basic components of a fire alarm system, he or she is introduced to common installation, startup, and checkout procedures.
