1st Year Installer/Technician Bundle (17-21)

The course prepares students for completion of the First Year Installer/Technician Bundle. The course provides a complete overview of the Apprenticeship Program, from the history of the IBEW and structure of NECA to the goals and responsibilities of the apprentice. Students will learn basic telecommunication tools, basic knots, electrical units and Ohm's Law, resistance in DC series circuits, structured cabling systems, fiber optic cable installation, and National Electrical Code.
