An individual who has earned this badge has taken part in a remote internship wherein high school students are introduced to the design thinking process. Over the 6-week program, earners used the design thinking process to solve COVID related design challenges presented by local employers. Earners learned to manage ambiguity, collaborate on a team, listen actively, recognize others’ needs and values, think convergently and divergently, apply an iterative process, and develop and present a pitch.
