Earning Criteria

Earners must develop a professional portfolio to showcase their field experience at a sport management internship site. The portfolio should include a special project, candid photos, a resume updated, daily journal entries, and self assessment. Earners must present this portfolio to the faculty supervisor at ESU.

Earners must receive an "A" grade from ESU Sport Management internship courses (SMGT 486 or SMGT 586). A minimum of 40 work hours per one academic credit must be completed (e.g., if a student takes 12-credits internship course, 480 work hours are required.)
