Issued by
East Stroudsburg University
This badge is issued to students who successfully complete a service learning project. Service-learning requires students to work on a community issue and reflect on lessons learned. Direct service-learning occurs when students learn about a societal issue in class and provide a service to support those who face that issue. For example, students visit patients at a hospital, serve meals at a soup kitchen, or walk shelter dogs. Students are expected to spend 1 - 10 hours on the project.
