The Spirit of Plus-One Design: Digital Delivery

Badge earners explored Blackboard Ultra and other tools to foster accessible interaction and connection through applying research-based Plus-One Universal Design concepts to support student learning in the online modality. Participants provided peer feedback to create accessible digital content and experienced the student side of Blackboard Ultra in personal sandbox shells. Earners collaborated with instructional designers and peer mentors to develop and implement action plans.

Earning Criteria

Attend a two day workshop.
Workshop participants, upon completion of the 2 day workshop, will create a Plus-One (re)designed course and assessment to implement for the fall semester within their workshop sandbox shells. Participants will create their action plan for Fall 2024 to share with CETL staff and their mentor to encourage and assist others in the on-going effort to enhance and refine remote learning strategies. The NASNTI Program is honored to sponsor this professional development to support faculty.
