Public Affairs and Communications Strategy Qualification Course (DINFOS-PACS-Q) (v.3)

The course objective is to provide entry-level public affairs training for mid- to senior-level non-commissioned officers (NCOs) and commissioned officers from all U.S. Armed Forces and select foreign nations, as well as U.S. government agency civilians selected for public affairs. This course will ensure those NCOs, officers and civilians are capable of performing the basic duties of Department of Defense (DoD) military public affairs practitioners.

Earning Criteria

The methods of assessment include quizzes, case studies, written papers, examinations, presentations, and performance rubrics (checklists) with a minimum passing score of 70 percent.

The methods of instruction include audio visual materials, case studies, practical exercises, learner presentations, lecture, discussion, and classroom exercise.
