CON 290: Contract Administration and Negotiation Techniques in a Supply Environment (CON 290)

The course applies contracting concepts and techniques to meet customer supply requirements and resolve complex contracting issues. Special emphasis is placed on applying legal concepts, pricing concepts, and negotiation techniques. Students experience the full spectrum of contracting processes and issues by following a supply requirement through all phases of the acquisition life cycle, from acquisition planning through contract close-out.

Earning Criteria

The methods of instruction include audio visual materials, case studies, practical exercises, learner presentations, lecture, discussion, and classroom exercise.

The methods of assessment include written papers, presentations, case studies, examinations, and performance rubrics (checklists) with a minimum passing score of 80 percent.
