This badge is awarded to Vital employee who participate in the assigned Ignite Programme module while also engaging in on-the-job assignment to develop this competency. The person may take their own initiative to identify an on-the-job assignment, but they will have discussed and agreed the viability and demand for this assignment with a manager. By the end participants are equipped with additional skills and behaviours in the area of 'Action Orientation'.

Earning Criteria

  • Awarded to Vital employees who have completed the following: (1) Received feedback from their manager, normally as part of the yearly review on the need to develop this competency (2) Completed the online Ignite Programme Module on 'What it means to be action oriented' (3) Completed a relevant on-the-job assignment, examples of on-the-job assignments are suggested on our 'What it means to be Action Oriented' module, assignments undertaken to earn this badge need to be of similar scope.
