Earners of this Microcredential implemented the 5-step design thinking process to address a real world problem within a workplace/sector. They used empathy activities to define a challenge from the user’s perspective, ideation activities to identify one idea that would have an impact on the challenge, developed a prototype to address the challenge, and engaged in testing activities to refine their idea. Earners captured their process in a report which an instructor evaluated using a rubric.
