Earners will be able to recognise and identify health literacy in a range of different contexts and in relation to the social determinants of health. They will be able to identify population groups most at risk of low health literacy and those who are responsible for health promotion, education awareness and empowering individuals to be more aware of healthy choices and reduce risk.
