Asthma – An Introduction to Management

Earners will have an understanding of basic asthma management. They can explain the effects of asthma on the airways, list factors that increase the likelihood of developing asthma, and identify common triggers and symptoms of asthma. They are able to recall first aid interventions to assist with severe asthma and recognise the essential elements of an Asthma Action Plan and the treatment regime.
