They are able to: Determine employment opportunities in the environmental and land based industries, prepare for a work-based experience in the environmental and land based industry, understand the importance of effective interpersonal skills in the workplace, review a work-based experience in the environmental and land based sector.
• This individual has achieved unit 303 Land-based industry machinery operations. They are able to: Understand the purpose and operation of land based industry machinery, prepare land based industry machinery for work, operate land based industry machinery.
• This individual has achieved unit 304 Agricultural crop production. They are able to: Know how to establish crops for given markets, plan the nutrition of crops, understand control measures for weeds, pests and diseases, understand harvest and storage losses and production costs.
