• This individual has achieved unit 201 Automotive Health and Safety. They are able to: Understand implications of the law with regard to health and safety at work, identify the factors leading to accidents and how to control them, carry out tasks ensuring safety precautions and procedures are followed.
• This individual has achieved unit 202 Automotive Industry and Careers. They are able to: Identify the different career paths within the automotive industry, recognise job roles and requirements, understand types of employment conditions.
• This individual has achieved unit 203 Servicing and Inspection. They are able to: Recognise the main vehicle system and components that require regular servicing, identify typical service /inspection types, carry out vehicle inspection and service procedure.
• This individual has achieved unit 204 Automotive Fast-Fit Systems. They are able to: Understand the types of vehicle fast-fit components and specialist equipment, carry out removal and replacement of fast-fit components.
• This individual has achieved unit 205 Vehicle Chassis Systems. They are able to: Recognise vehicle braking systems, recognise vehicle steering systems, recognise vehicle suspension systems.
• This individual has achieved unit 206 Costing Workshop Repairs. They are able to: Understand the requirements for costing repairs, design invoices for customer repairs, calculate repair invoices.
