To achieve the Level 2 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, learners must achieve 42 credits overall - 21 credits from the mandatory units:
201 Working in engineering
202 Principles of engineering technology
203 Principles of manufacturing technology
To achieve the Level 2 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, learners must achieve 42 credits overall, a minimum of 21 credits from the optional units available
