  • This person can interact with ICT for a purpose, by using computer hardware, using software applications for a purpose, and by recognising and using interface features.  They can follow recommended safe practices, by minimising physical stress, keeping access to information secure through the use of a password, and by understanding the need to stay safe.
  • This person can use ICT-based sources of information They can find specified information from ICT-based sources, by using simple search facilities.
  • This person can enter and edit information for a simple given purpose, using simple editing and formatting techniques.  They can bring together two given types of information, for both printing and viewing on screen. Identify and correct simple errors. They can use ICT-based communication receive, read and send electronic messages.
