CDU Introductory Beta Testing - Educational Resources
Issued by
Charles Darwin University
User acceptability testing (UAT) of educational products involves beta-testing the product with a sample population that it is intended for. This normally follows internal checks of the product by the developers, known as "alpha-testing" for errors, bugs, accessibility and overall usability. This next step or "beta-testing" involves presenting the educational resource to intended users to validate its usefulness, usability, and obtain feedback that may help to improve the educational resource.
