The Colorado Medicaid Academy (CMA), supported by the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing, is a ten-month professional development and leadership training program for selected DHCPF staff. CMA builds the capacity of emerging leaders by providing a forum for professional development that equips participants with the skills needed to lead DHCPF through the increasingly complex and challenging task of effectively administering the state’s Medicaid and CHIP programs.
