Created by the de Vries Institute for Global Faculty Development at Calvin University, this course examines a biblical vision of flourishing that has caught the imagination of a range of Christian higher education writers. Shalom, translated as “peace," implies a vision of well-being that encompasses wholeness in relationship to God, creation, neighbor, and ourselves. This course focuses on how shalom has been used as a lens for thinking in Christian ways about higher education. 7-8 hours.
