Earners of the OpenRail Designer Creation & Design badge have been introduced to the software's parametric functionality and the use of ground terrain in designing rail systems. They have a fundamental understanding of creating rail centreline geometry and placing a railway corridor with connection to the surrounding terrain. They are also aware of how to make modifications to existing designs as well as analyse and generate reports from them.
