Earners of the BITC Job Coach credential have attended Business in the Community’s half-day training. Volunteers are trained to effectively use coaching tools to support clients with barriers to employment. The Coaching tools taught are, Active Listening, GROW Model, giving Feedback and Rapport Building. Also covered is safeguarding, awareness of client barriers, the Skills Builder Framework, and the Energy Curve.
