This beginner English course provides an introduction to the language. Students in this course develop an understanding of basic English phrases, vocabulary and grammar. This course is designed to develop students' reading, writing, listening and speaking skills at a beginning English level.

Within the Four Domains of English (Listening, Reading, Speaking, & Writing) the student will be able to: 1. Correctly use conjunctions 2. Correctly conjugate & use be going to to express future actions; 3. Correctly use and place adverbs of degree & frequency in a sentence; 4. Correctly conjugate & use the present continuous tense 5. Correctly conjugate & use the simple past 6. Use appropriate vocabulary to discuss physical descriptions of people, clothing, chores, repairs, & life milestones.

Student will complete a final assessment through Four Domains of English (Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing) requiring a 70% or better to be successful.
