Earning Criteria

  • Have a non-expired CPR Card.
  • Have a non-expired First Aid Card (or higher level of EMS provider).
  • Have IS-100: Introduction to Incident Command System.
  • Have IS-700: An Introduction to the National Incident Management System.
  • Have Hazardous Materials Awareness Level, NFPA 1072 Certification (IFSAC and/or ProBoard).
  • Have Hazardous Materials Core Operations Level, NFPA 1072 Certification (IFSAC and/or ProBoard).
  • Have Hazardous Materials Operations Personal Protective Equipment Mission Specific, NFPA 1072 Certification (IFSAC and/or ProBoard).
  • Have Hazardous Materials Operations Product Control Mission Specific, NFPA 1072 Certification (IFSAC and/or ProBoard).
  • Complete Basic Fire Training course in accordance with NFPA 1001.
  • Successfully complete the Professional Certification assessment examination.
