Dialogue & Inquiry for Mindfulness-Based Programs
Issued by
Brown School of Professional Studies
For MBSR teachers, the dialogue and inquiry that arises in the classroom invites the practice of mindfulness into the sphere of reflecting, listening, and speaking. This practice—between the teacher and individual participants, as well as connecting individual experiences to the group, draws from the traditions of contemplative practice—including the natural interest and curiosity that arises with meditation practice—as well as Western traditions of investigation.
