Badge earners have earned a B or higher in Bradley University's FIN 220, Personal Finance. Industry-based competencies include calculating the balance of financial safety, income, and growth; making informed purchasing decisions for major expenses; and making informed insurance decisions to reduce financial uncertainty and make accidental loss manageable. Earners have been assessed through case studies, spreadsheet analysis, and presentations.

Badge earners have also earned a B or higher in Bradley University's MIS 279, Personal Security & Privacy. Industry-based competencies include assessing new technology to identify potential security risks; recognizing & mitigating risks associated with financial security; and recognizing and thwarting cybersecurity threats. Earners have been assessed through hands-on projects in deploying and configuring encryption tools, anonymization techniques, and case studies addressing online surveillance.

Badge earners have also earned a B or higher in Bradley University's FCS 300, Consumer Issues in America. Industry-based competencies include demonstrating rational decision making to address recurring consumer issues; examining the influence of public policy on consumer well-being; and analyzing the interrelationships between the economic system and consumer action. Earners have been assessed through MoneySkills modules, spending logs, reflections, and discussions.
