Earning Criteria

Learners will study the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Act of 2005 (PSQIA), Safety Event Notification (SEN), Serious Event Review Team (SERT), Safety Event Classification (SEC), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Safety Coach, Safety First, Safety Always (SFSA), and principles of a High Reliability Organization (HRO). Additionally they will be introduced to important data principles to include where to locate data resources, setting targets, and preparing data with your audience in mind.
