After attending the SLII® Concepts workshop the holder of this credential has demonstrated understanding of the SLII model and the 3 skills of a situational leader. Through learn & practice experiences, the holder of this credential has developed a practical approach to leading team members and influencing peers. Specifically, they have developed skills in creating clear & compelling goals, diagnosing the development level of a person for the goal/task and applying the matching leadership style.

Earning Criteria

The earner has attended the SLII Concepts program, completing interactive LEARN and PRACTICE activities using real life examples. With a servant leadership mindset, this person has learned and practiced the 3 skills of a situational leader - developing clear and compelling goals (focusing on the person and the result), diagnosing a person's development level and matching the leadership style (correct mix of direction and support) to the person's needs.
The earner has completed the pre-program LAUNCH activities, completing the Leadership Behavioural Self Assessment (LBAII), detailing their leadership style flexibility and effectiveness. In addition, the person understands their preferred primary, secondary and developing leadership styles.
Completed all post program MASTER activities, the 12 SLII Challenges and 12 SLII Clicks e-learning activities. Through completing these activities this person has demonstrated a desire to continue their learning through implementing their SLII skills with team members. We believe this will greatly assist in achieving long term behavioural change and increasing employee engagement.
