  • This course is open to all engineers, professionals, faculty, and college-level students.
  • This is a self-paced, online course that will require 10-15 hours to complete. The learner will be introduced to foundational concepts in probability and statistics for data-driven decision-making. Topics include descriptive statistics, sampling, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and visualizations. Learners will explore t-tests, z-tests, p-values, and error types. Includes video lectures, self-assessments (not graded), and take-home final exam (graded).
  • To earn this credential, the learner must pass the final exam with a grade of 70% or higher.
  • $250.00 - standard/industry; $150.00 - BU and SUNY faculty/staff, BU alumni (graduated in May 2021 or before)/ non-SUNY students; $95.00 - BU and SUNY students/recent BU alumni (graduated in December 2021 or later)/high school students; $105.00 - non-BU/SUNY students (must provide evidence of matriculation at a university/college); $35.00 - retake fee – students; $50.00 - retake fee – non-students (must provide proof of previous registration).
