Earning Criteria

  • This course is open to all engineers, professionals, faculty and college-level students.
  • This is an in-person, interactive course that will require 8 hours to complete and is designed to help participants enhance self-awareness, social awareness, and empathetic communication skills. Through lectures, storytelling, and group discussions, participants learn to recognize personal blind spots, build trust, and apply Sensitive, Open, and Direct (SOD) two-way communication techniques.
  • To earn this credential, the learner must pass an optional, multiple-choice exam, with a grade of 80% or better.
