Earning Criteria
-
Earner has learnt how to play a musical instrument with little or no previous experience, to a standard well enough to produce a live performance.
-
Earner has learnt how to write song lyrics, and written lyrics based on a daily theme. Learning the skills to put together something new in a short time frame, with very little pre planning time. This has been done in collaboration with others, whilst ensuring their own ideas are both heard and recognised with the same importance as everyone else's.
-
Earner has created physical pieces of artwork, representative of the pieces of music created as a team. These pieces have demonstrated the individuality involved within the group process of producing the musical piece. The artwork has allowed earners to show growth as an individual and be able to show their own take, on a piece of work that has been created as a team.
-
Earner has worked with peers they may not have worked with previously. Earner has also demonstrated the importance of collaborative working and sharing of ideas as well as the need to have a voice within group work. Earner has also demonstrated the need to be professional in a team and not to bring personal feelings in when they may be destructive to the project at hand.
-
Earner has demonstrated the ability to take care of professional equipment understanding the importance of such equipment and how defects or damage would have an impact on individuals and future performances.
-
Earner has grown as an individual, increased confidence, built working relationships with peers, staff and professionals. Earner has pushed their own limits, taken on and succeeded at challenges normally well out of their comfort zone and have finished the course with a deeper element of self-belief and confidence.
